This is the new record stock block, stock head, with cams cobra, 88mm turbo, he has over 100 passes at the track with various turbo setups no issues. The head starts to lift at 30lbs he said. Car dynoed at 998whp at 29.7psi......here is the vid of a blistering pass 9.20@155mph on 17" drag radials no slicks.

Some added info here: 124mph in the freaking 1/8th.

If you guys have seen the "modified mustang" magazine, a few months back there was a black 04 cobra with red-orange-white flame paint job on it. He lives a about 1/2 mile from me and has been dyno'ed at 1050+ whp. I will try to find a link of a vid or to the article and post it.

 

Didn't look like he had issues with traction off the line.

The are going for 8's@160mph this week same setup stock block etc, but now with 35psi.

 

This is a update from the previous thread I posted a couple of days ago. Same setup as before boost hasn't been cranked up still 29-30psi....he took off the DR's and put on slicks.
