I say the subie as well, my buddie has one and it is really nice. Not as hard-edged as our cars, but still plenty of power and grip.

Plus, I forget to mention the fact that the AWD systems on the LGT are a proven platform...while the MS6 is a newer AWD system for the lineup. Not saying it's a bad AWD system, but just not as proven to perform, reliable, etc etc.

Yea i was actually gonna mention something about MS6 AWD system. I believe its an active torque split system, so the AWD only kicks in when the front wheels start to slip.

Let us know what you decide on. All are great cars and id love to have either one as a DD.

Driven both, I'd pick option 5 hands down. The 335xi doesn't feel nearly as sporty (certain components in the xi are different, as far as the sales person told me) as the 335i, its why I'm in the Carrera instead of the 335xi. As soon as I got a chance to drive an xi (they're a hot item here) I knew that it wouldn't work, the Type-S (while definitely feeling slower) felt sportier than the xi. But, I have to have AWD here. The Subaru felt much sportier compared to the xi as well. Of all those cars, the M3 or the Type-S would be my picks. And while I'm not sure on the exact models I've driven one of each (or multiples, in the case of the Type-S, the Subaru, and the Infiniti). But, my pick for my wife would be the Subaru way beyond the other cars. That way I would still enjoy driving it, but I'd feel confident knowing that she'd be just fine in it all the time and comfortable. The Legacys are great luxury cars... And hey, if you need more power, you can always get an AccessPort from COBB.

The Infiniti is good too, if you're going for one of the new models, after the redesign.

6) lancer evo viii/ix - awd, family sedan.

a stock evo drives very well and comfy enough for long trips. you have a black one so get her a white one, you can make your own bmw "yin/yang" commercial. you 2 could cruise around in your very own evo's... that would be a sight for me when i convince my wife someday.

i like the 335i, alot. maybe even a little too much as i thought for a split second about trading the Evo in on one. Its honestly a little out of my price range at the time being, but i think in about another year i may try to pick a used one up as my DD.
