wife needs a new car, i need advice...

The time has come, and is long over-due, to get rid of her 2003 Ford S#!t-stang. We will be getting her a new car with-in the next few months, and I have come up with a few ideas for her. If ya would like, let me know whta ya think, or give me some more ideas...

We do quite a bit of traveling, so we want something that is going to have some comfort during long road trips, something thats not too big (no bigger than the M5 listed below), has an ample amount of power, and is preferrably AWD, if not, rear-drive.

The cars that I have in mond as of right now are as follows, in no particular order...

1) BMW E46 M3
-she loves the looks, power and handling, as do i; a good friend of mine owns one and I absolutely love driving it. has the power, handling, luxury, and a good used price

2) BMW E39 M5
- BMW reliability, plenty of room, and comfort, and M-Power 400hp and handling in a FAMILY SEDAN

3) Infinity G35 coupe
- good amount of power, decent on the luxury scale, great looks, VQ35 mod-ability

4) Acura TL type-S
- Great looks, sedan with plenty of room, decent in the power dept, higher-end luxury for a great price, and its a Honda, so its gonna last a long time...BUT its front-drive

5) Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT/spec B
Everything we love about our Evo's and STi's in a more family friendly package

Obviously, all the cars listed above are used vehicles. We dont feel the need to purchase a brand-spankin new car, so long as we can find a good vehicle with a solid title and good service records. BTW, my pick is for one of the M's

Id go with Legacy GT/Spec B. Also look into the Mazdaspeed 6. You can get one with the touring package which i believe comes with leater, heated seats, navi, etc. Also you can pick one up really cheap. The Toyota dealership i worked at got one and they were will to trade me straight up for my Evo for the MS6. No cash or anything would change hands just titles. This was an 05 with just 3500 on the ODO and my evo had 45k on it and its an 03.

I agree. They are reliable and fairly quick. They produce 280ft/lbs BONE STOCK!!! They are torquey SOB's.

SpecB x1000! Well known for safety, VERY comfortable leather, NAV, Bilstein susp, STi tranny (did I hear correctly?), and a beautiful overall pkg.

View this one just came on to the market...http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73236

I'd say SpecB or MazdaSpeed 6...
Do you have any kids? If so I'd say these sound like good everyday options. It's hard to Drive a M3 in the snow...
