09 STi

Hey guys,
What do you think of the new 09 STi? I was checking out an article of it at the Tokyo Motorshow and I gotta say I'm digging it the more I see it =P The feature below has a couple of gallery pictures and some pretty good videos on it.

I think it is a decent looking car. It is going to be faster than the X in 0-60 runs. The X should have it beat in the track dept.

I still think that it was beat to the brink of death by a massive ugly stick...

Its never gona get over the fact that its a STATION WAGON! The new sti looks like a mazda3, and a dodge caliber all in one.

I wouldn't be caught dead in that soccer mom mobile.

+1
Gotta agree with the MS3 comparison.

I'm awaiting Subie and Mitsu to release a bare bones version of the new rides. Evo had the US released RS before, but Subie never released stripped down version. I'm wondering if both will now since they pushed the model upscale in options.

In my opinion, the new STI looks too tame until you see the rally version. When you include those wide fenders it starts to look mean. Anyone have a pic of the rally-preped version?

For the first time, I actually think the WRX (sedan) looks much better than the STI (wagon). I think you will see a lot more US buyers going for the WRX with mod plans in mind, and passing on the STI.

I wonder what would it cost to "boost" the WRX up to match the STI's performance? $5,000?

I drive an EVO and I think the new STi is the ugliest one out yet. Does that make my opinion worth anymore than ThunderOZRacers? I also happen to like the Lancer OZ's design to the new STi coming out ... He's entitled to his opinion as it is a subjective personal preference, whether you agree or not ...
