Interesting how they can get that street-legal and some of the good Japanese stuff get turned down for all sorts of reasons.

 

It's handled as a kit car, so it doesn't have to meet the same safety regulations. Basically, they import the body, then throw an Ecotec engine into it and register it as a kit car.

Wow, I've only seen these in magazines. I didn't know that Top Gear drove one. That thing looks incredibly fun!

To all the people who are so deeply offended that they had to see the same thing posted twice; If someone never knew that the video existed, then they BENEFIT from the repost. If you are the type of person that gets bothered by something like that, then don't waste your time posting.

I do acknowledge that people should search before they ask specific questions (What is the best TBE, What is factory boost, etc), but a repost can be positive for something that people are unaware of.
