100% possible. Im actually surprised it dosent make more. but 12's are possible on a slick or a set of dr's as long as he can drive it.

Spikek1,

It is possible. I "only" had 3 SIs(2 of them CRX si and one a hatchback SI). I read many different magazines(sport compact car and Turbo) which they had many Honda turbo projects and it is very very possible. They make soo many turbokits for that car and soo many mods that 263whp is actually a easily achieavable mark.

Their drive train losses are minimal.

What's so great about these engines? Can someone explain to me?
WHY WHY WHY Honda ??!?!...
Why do people LOVE boosting, modifying b16,b18,k20,k24,etc?
They're FWD and ... Idk much about their engines?. Please tell me something good about them!.

because honda engine are the best 4 cilindar engines out there. they are the most efficeant and make the most HP period.

why you ask

because of their vtec head design. very high VE engine

they only suck because of the fwd platform

Bingo, the 4G63 is great and all, probably the only other I-4 to compete with the Honda motors... But Honda motors are wonderfully built, and reliable as crazy...

Oh, and just fyi, look up Courtney Day's Civic Hatch... Can't remember whether it was a b16 or another Honda motor, but he was down in the 9s last I remember.

^+1 I think honda's are awesome cars and the motors are awesome too. They get great gas even when they are turboed as long as you aren't boosting it every where.
There are a few crazy honda's in my area. A few hatch's are running low 10'S high 9'S and there is one that can do 8"S. They are putting down anywhere from 500 to 900 HP at the wheels!!! A good friend of mine has the Fastest 4 door SOHC civic in the US running low 10's but now he is going B16 for more power.
But Ya Honda's can make crazy power and alot cheaper than a Evo.
Courtney has the fast Honda for his class and is one of the best tuners for hondas. He has tuned about all the 10 and 9 sec hondas in the state and most every where else.

Yeah... my buddy had a 00 Si (b16) that he boosted, 259whp easily. On a high school sophomore budget.

These are nice engines.

Most HP for a very limited amount of time and abuse... no other 4cylinder based on a production car gets close to this....

Its a shame the car only raced one time (was banned before it even raced) and then was stolen a few days later. ;(

theres a few things id change on that one, but it is a very clean crx for 7k, nice motor set up and very capiable of going alot faster.

PS id rather change my clutch in my b16 crx in my garage then my evo lol
