I don't see where the guy is trying to get "the approval of EVO owners" It's looks like it was an Evo owner who posted this thread so to me it's just a thread pointing out a good time by another car.

Maybe I am reading into your post wrong but it seems like you're hardcore hating on this car. Why would you not think it would get into the 11's? The thing did a 2.0 60" so dropping that should get it into the 11's. That's just commen sense.



BTW: Vegasboy ran a 13.6 bone stock on pump gas here in Vegas in his 335i. The fastest stock evo I've seen here is 13.6. Our track is at 2200 ft. Elevation.

When the track opens up I will easily hit 11s'. Last time I went to the track I was spinning all for tires and hitting 117.9 mph with 5 major leaks that where found later and then re-tuned. If you like BMW so much go buy one. No one is stopping you. Personally I think it's an ok car, nothing I will save my money for. What is really funny that my friend from church does have a 335i and raced my friend with the stock Volvo S80 T6 stock and they where tie. Hmm imagine the Volvo with a tune and exhaust. My point is this, All the evo needs is a slightly bigger turbo like Evo Green and then it's over. I haven't seen any BMW compared to the Lambo, but I have seen the Evo. Also why was the Evo in the top 5 greatest cars ever built, they showed it on CNN I am sure you can find it if you search. I will not give my car for 100 BMWs.

You said I spent more money then the BMW to modd the car. With all my modds and the price of the car after is paid, it's still cheaper then that ugly a$$ BMW. You must be a smart one.

 

LOL! Last time I saw IE Evo there is no way the Bimmer is trapping 117mph. Maybe the Bimmer would trap 110 mph with the Donut King driving.

VegasEmoBoy can drive his azz off. One of best drag drivers/dressers in Vegas behind Danimal though. But I agree the Bimmer is impressive.

 

For an EVO, this is a BMW 335i. Look why do you guys keep bringing that up, I simply posted I didn't think this particular car will get in the 11s. That doesn't mean 335is in general. Seriously when I posted that, I simply meant Shiv isn't really into drag racing, I think maybe down pipes would put it in the 11s, launching the 335i isn't the easiest thing from what I've seen and read (you guys talk like the car will hit 1.6s or 1.7s like it is nothing on SAC raceway which is a good track, but not awesome). But honestly I don't really care, if the car hits 11s fine, that's great. I simply put in my opinion I think it needs a little more power to hit 11s easily and nothing is easy about hit 1.6s or 1.7s in a 335i. If so then post up all the 1.6s and 1.7s in 335i. But honestly can we drop it, ok maybe that car can hit 11s, make you feel better.

Also how have I hated on the 335i, how many times must I say, "Impressive", "Awesome", and etc. What because I think some owners and posers exaggerate. What do you want me to say or do, want me to suck your d*cks??? Sorry that's one way 3000ways don't swing. Wow you 335i owners and fans got some real issues.

These guys are the only people I know that race their Evos from a 1st gear roll on the highway. Hahaha you guys can't drive. I kicked their butts, and also their cousin's Z06 with 470 whp or so that is what they told me. Hahaahahahahahaha You guys are a trip, but really do sell your Evos and get a BMW. PLEASE do the entire Evo world a favor and sell your Evo. Get your self a BMW and race from a roll because you don't have the guts to come to the track and race because you can't drive.

I love the evo, and i like the 335. They are different cars. The 335 will NEVER be the track car the evo is, but if the 335 is slightly faster on the freeway on stock turbo then big deal. Lots of cars are faser than evos on freeways. As far as cruisers go, its hard to eeat the 335 for looks, power and reasonable fun factor.

 

I agree with you for the most part. Now this is what I seen with my own two eyes. My friends 335i and my friends Evo where both Stock. No exhaust and no flash. 100% Stock. They both tried the cars from a roll and the Evo took him each time by a big distance. I mean BIG. I can't say how many cars but it was huge. So stock for stock the BMW never stands a chance. The looks of the BMW are ugly. I really don't like it. For almost 50K I expect more. Look at the new CTS. BMW and Mercedes have to come out with a better car now because Cadillac Killed them. The new CTS is pure sex. I can't wait for the new V. It will beat every European Trash cars.

When you went to the track a while back you lied and told me 2 different times. When I called you, you said you ran a 11.9 @114. Than when I saw you in person you said you ran a 12.3 @114. It just shows that your a compulsive liar.

LOL I cant drive? I have a clutch that is known to get locked out of gear at high RPMs. Not like your Twin disc clutch that you burned after 2 months.

NO matter what a stock Evo is slower than a BMW M3 or 335 on the highway. Especially Evo VIII's. But with minor mods its a different story. Get that thru your thick head. Tune a 335 than you see how fast it gets.

I can I drive my Evo if I want to. What is it to you. I'm not a biast Evo owner like you. I love any car that is worthy.
