Bye Evo, Hello ......?

Hey guys,

Was just interested in seeing what you guys think are some cool looking, reliable, and decently fast cars that would lease between $300 - $350 a month.

The Evo is too much, and I'm not able to afford it like I was when I bought it. With that said, I'm thinking of letting her go, and leasing something.

I've been looking at the A4, 335i, is250, Mazdaspeed6. Out of those, I'd rather have a 335i, however.. they're a bit expensive for what I can afford. I'm thinking maybe an A4 would be a good choice.

What are your guys thoughts?

Thanks.

They all sound expensive man. I would just keep the evo. all those cars will cost a lot for maintenance.

I pay $624 a month for my evo. All of those cars I mentioned lease under $600 a month. The A4 is $300 something. The highest is the 335i at $549.

Well in that case I would get the A4 just so you're not pushing the limit. Good luck with your decision.

i hate the idea of leasing a vehicle...unless u plan to purchase after the lease is up, ur just borrowing it. It isn't even worth modding a leased vehicle cause u have to take it back to stoock before you turn it back in.

DAMN that's a lot. It's cheaper (and MUCH smarter) not to lease.

You should check out the '07 350Z. You can get an Enthusiast model for around $28k or so. Runs 13.2's in the 1/4 stock (no bull****... fastest stock time is a 13.2@107) and it's a damn good looking car. Handles pretty decent also.

Out of those three though, I'd take the Audi.

lease the 335i sedan without options, you don't need navigation or leather. Spend $349 on a ECU module and you will have a 12 sec 108-110mph BMW.

Wait until the 135i is released(weeks away) or get other cars like the Nissan 350 enthusiast like he said. I will stay away from the FWD cars.

I'd really like to get my hands on a 335i, or 135i if possible. Thing is.. I don't really want to pay over $375 or so a month, and I still owe $19,xxx on the evo...

do you know how much it costs to really lease a 335i

check your facts, you're looking at like $6500 due at signing

you should buy a 1998 golf/jetta, pay off some debt, and save some money for a good down payment on your next car. buy used.

As opposed to what exactly? Purchasing a car for 35k, spending another 5-10k in interest over the next 5-6 years, and then having it only be worth 15-20k when your done paying for it? Thats sound's like a MUCH better idea

Leasing, outside of paying for your vehicles cash. Is actually a better financial decision than purchasing. Thats why you have to have good credit to lease. Your just paying for the cars use, but not losing money in depreciating asset.

Why not an S4 instead of an A4? You can't mod it if it's a lease, I guess, but they're cheaper than evos.
