These cars are getting too heavy and expensive.....a base STI with destination/delivery is going to be over $36,000!

I bet the X will be the same price with the MR closer to $40k.

Both the new sti,and the evo are two of the ugliest cars ive evr seen..I cant believe that both companies have decreased the looks, and from what i have seen the performance of both cars, and then have the sack to try and ask more money for both of them..I think mits has ended their streak, unless the ralliart does well..I mean, i know people will buy the X,how,im still not sure??If something happens where i have to get rid of my evo,or legacy..I'll go back european as well..Just my oppinion,of course..Justin

Good lord, you guys are suuuuch haters. I'm not too keen on the front view, but I think overall the car looks pretty good. I'd love to see it in person next to the Evo X, which I really like.

FOR REAL, what happened to Subaru's design team??? They nailed the 04-05 sti so well. Then the tribeca came and everything went to hell.

I saw the new STI at the LA Auto show as well as the new EVO X, and I must say they both look much better in person then in photo's. I think both the STI and X needs wider wheels and be lowered about an 1" or so all the way around for correct look. After that, it's all good. In the end, it's how the car drives and performs.

Nice find nonetheless.
Your right, I can't believe I missed that RHD drive pic and I must of read throught the article to quickly. But your right, the one they drove was not a US Spec STI.

Autoweek and probably every other mag were invited to the same drive. The car they drove uses the 2.0 block, so expect the US 2.5 block car to be a bit different. And yes, it was RHD, and they are basing their article on a few laps around a closed track.
