Eh? You do realize that the SR20, which has been out since 90-91 is aluminum block. It'll take 400whp longer than the rest of the car will last, and people have pushed it well beyond 500whp on a completely stock block and head gasket. Not ot mention all the boosted Hondas on aluminum blocks. Get with the times, you're about 15 years behind.

ok lets wax intellectually, First regardless of higher compression FI adds a whole lot of extra heat and stress, Second majority of those FI ls1 motors are built and not running 20+ psi because of all the extra displacment. Im not saying AL is bad im just saying comparing it to a N/A AL motor with double or triple the displacement is a stupid comparison. Sorry dude I peaced you try again next time.....
