I;m not saying its expensive i'm just saying that if you pay $70 k+ for an 07-08 ZO6 that sh%t better not run high 11's-low 12's. Chevy just keeps uping the power on the vette, the SS comes out next year (650hp) by the time 2010-11 comes around the corvette will have 1000hp

 

108mph indicates power levels beyond stock. I dont care how fast you shift, you did not trap 108mph completely stock.

 

well 70k for a car is alot of dough. not your average income man can buy it.

the average income man can easily afford an evo.

i know dudes with hondas that have 10k invested in their whole ride
including the car that go 10's all day.

the only thing that i could see being the great buy in the car is for the looks
and the unique fiberglass chassis.

i know a guy around here, owns a regular 2006 vette. stock block ls2 @4 psi on a supercharger puttin 540whp, it will easly dust a z06 for half the price. and still the great looks.

^^^I'm agreeing. I've seen these run in 75 degree weather with DR's and run 11.6-11.8 with 1.8x 60' times. Sure if it's cooler weather with the same 60' I could see gaining another .2 or .3 seconds, but I don't know if I could believe 100% stock running 10s. But if it is in fact true, it's amazing.

 

Let's not play the money game please. If that was the case then everyone would be extolling the virtues of a fox body with bolt-ons and spray. A heavily modded car is a whole different ballgame from a bone stock, straight from the show room one.
