Yeah, please.
Handling - maybe decent
Power - anemic
Luxury - lacking
price should be like 28 grand, not 48 grand.

We sold ours for $39,000. The customer was happy as hell as he should be. It's somthing special to own one.... Honda only made 500 total. Its like owning a piece of history. We as Evo owners got the best bang for the buck and the Si is far from it. A WRX will smoke it but then again Honda makes some of the best engines in the world... I just pray that he doesn't get his Mugen stolen. People are gonna try to jack that car so fast. Did you guys see the pics of the Mugen that just came off the Honda truck that was gutted and left on blocks? It still had the plastic on it!!! The car will never have a blue book and is irreplacable.

39K can buy a lot more than a Honda with some Mugen crap.

Then again, I'm not so easily persuaded by media.

I fail to see why someone would pay for a civic as though it was art. It's a brand new car, different suspension, and body kit, that's going for double the price, but does nearly thhe same thing. Additionally, It seems very UN-honda to put form over function. These mugen guys are up to no good.

These car manufacturers just don't get that it doesn't matter what body kits or rims they have on the car when they sell it. People who mod their car want it to look different than stock and more personalized. I think it's a stupid idea to sell a car like this. never justifies the mark up.

Interesting. On my one buddy's Honda site one of the members works at a dealership in CT and has a Mugen Civic for $31k. And I thought that was high.

And to groove304, I agree with what you are saying but it is still just a Honda Civic.

Haha. I'm a salesman... I'm supposed to sell the sizzle. Would I ever pay over sticker for anything?... **** no!

The Civic had $3k in worthless filler crap (paint and fabric protectant, pin stripes that weren't there, $400 in window tinting), and the last line on the extras? $15,000 Market Adjustment. Total on this car was nearly $48k.

The Club Racer had much of the same crap, and a $5k market adjustment to boot.

Unfortunately they're not listing these two cars on their website, or I'd hoist them up on their pitards for you to see.
honda of mckinney is notorious for jacking prices. when we bought our hatch we went there first, but ended up going to rusty wallace got the same exact options for $3k less on a $13k car.

I sold the damn car! The deal was over $13,000 profit front and back end. It put $3,000 in my pocket. I am one of the top Honda guys in the country. Look it up... I was being sarcastic. I could build value in a KIA.

I only wish we got more than 1 Mugen. We are in the process of trying to trade for another one. Scottsdale has the market for these. People want stuff that no one else has. Think about it... If you owned one of these, what are the chances you will ever run into another one on the road? The state of AZ only recieved 9 of these cars. CA recieved the bulk of them.
