GM just one-uped the competition (Viper) by twenty horsepower with a 6.2 supercharged against the 8.4 liter NA beast.....The american horsepower war rages on.....the SRT division is probably already has a 9.0 liter V10 or dare I say, V12 to try to take this out, and then GM will probably bring out a 7.2 liter supercharged that one-ups it again...which won't matter when there is another oil embargo......

Here in Houston Vettes are so popular people are paying $110,000 for just Z06's....the dealers are gonna have fistfights over the commission payouts on the ZR! "Thats my customer"...."no its mine!" $8k commission on a marked up Z06. Its got a warranty and will probably trap 135-138 in the 1/4.

Actually, last I heard, It was chevy's policy that salesmen got 50 dollars for selling a corvette.. OLD corporate policy. I'm likely wrong, though.

You know what's funny about that... Here in the province of quebec, you pay 150$ per liter displacement over 4.0L every year for your tags. So the 8.4 would cost close to $1000 per year just for license plates.

On the other hand, if you have the money to buy a viper...
