Timing belt poll, need to cahnge or not?
Ok, this is a 92 VR4 Galant. We have no idea if the timing belt was changed or not. Need to know if we can make it through the winter.

If you think it may need it... change it. Esp if you're only wanting to make it through winter. Not knowing when it was changed last should be incentive to do it "just in case".

I would change it......If that thing goes you're going to have a valve party! Then your going to be pissed.....its preventative maintance. It might make it through the winter but if it doesn't.........

yep change it.. u have to look at rubber teeths.. see if there tear, missed pieces or cracks is def have to change to new belts
