Cylinder 1 running lean (WRX)

Hello everyone, my buddy and I have run out of options with my car and would love to seek advice from ANYONE that can help us...IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. Here is the problem:

Well, about a month back, we did an 18g turbo on my car with upgraded fuel injectors (pinks 565cc), fuel pump (Walboro 255lph), inter-cooler (Perrin TMIC), and inlet hose (Perrin). However, when going to get it tuned, the tuner mentioned that the car was running lean somewhere around cylinder 1's side because when he sprayed brake cleaner in that area (around the injector) some of it would get sucked in at some random spot. As a result, we did a number of things to try and fix the problem, here is the list:

1. resealed all injectors with brand new OEM o-rings and top seals and switched the injectors around; however, the problem was not solved.

2. since the tuner mentioned the he sprayed on the fuel pressure regulator as well, we replaced that with a brand new OEM one, but the problem continued.

3. next we replaced a number of vacuum lines around the problematic area, but still the problem continued.

4. finally, thinking that something was wrong with the fuel rails, we replaced the stock fuel rails with brand new Perrin Fuel rails and replaced the intake manifold gasket with a brand new one. However, again, the problem continued.

We are now at the stage where we need to do a compression test to see if anything is out of place. Other then that, we have NO clue what to do.

Currently the car starts fine and idle's steady at 500 rpm, no CEL codes have been thrown, all other cylinders are obtaining enough fuel, and the fuel pressure is exactly where it needs to be. The odd thing is that this problem occurs at idle!!!!!! In order to actually drive the car, it is running on a cobb economy mode pink injectors map that only allows for normal, low key, driving and about 5 lbs of boost. However, my buddy suggested not to drive it because the problem could get worse.

If there is anyone out there that has had this problem before or knows anything about it PLEEEEAAAASSSEEEEEEEEE help us.

P.S. I know this is the EVO forum, but I was hoping someone might be able to shine some light on this.

Perhaps he feels that there are more educated people here, and he is seeing 3 diamonds in his near future once he gets this problem fixed.
