2007 '70 challenger

ok so for those who have no idea why i said 07 70 challenger is, I'm talking about RESTO-MODS! I'm sure you know what they are, but for those who don't, their classic muscle cars turned into modern super cars. they are original on the outside, but on the inside and under the hood, they are MONSTER modern machines. these things from Xv motor sports are truly works of art. http://www.xvmotorsports.com/ check them out. what you guys think?

oh heres their first, BEAUTIFUL one ever http://www.xvmotorsports.com/sale/in...cat=cars&id=16

oh and any one know any other guys doing these?

I seen that car in person this past summer at a car show in CT. Absolutely amazing. Idk of any other garages doing this serious of a resto job, but I do know there are some companies out there that make engine mounts and all the other necessary parts to swap modern hemi's into the old cars. Hot Rod magazine had an article on the garages that make the parts about a year ago. I love the whole idea of taking cars like these and pretty much making them brand new.

I read about the XV Challenger in one of the car mags and it turned some nice numbers. The cost to get it there is too much for me. The front suspension set up is awsome. Gives me ideas for my restomod MoPar. 4G63 V8 perhaps?

I love old Muscle Cars as much as the next guy but for $200,000 these things are shall we say "over-rated". In the Car and Driver issue that they tested one of these out they compared it to a MazdaSpeed 3 and said the Mazda would be the better choice in a performance automobile...Ouch!

Yeah 200K is a too much but having a Muscle car perform like that is great. The Mazda might be a better choice in performance but Id rather be sitting in the Challenger.
