About time.

Though I doubt it will get "good" fuel mileage. Not with 500 HP. I sincerely hope they bring this here and it gains traction. A TDI A3 would find a place in my garage.

It would have significantly less power, but in general yes it should work. Not sure if there's room for the auxiliary equipment needed, though.

This car is just total hotness. Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on one.

gonna be stellar

Ya gotta figure a 4.2 (420bhp) R8 turns faster laps than a GT3

Imagine what they do to support that power

The front is stunning, brings us that much closer to a Le Mans car too.

It's good to see manufacturers using already developed technology like forced induction and diesel to make big power in a good looking sports car. I'm not a fan of the hybrid battery stop gap bs.

Depending on the blend you use, e.g. B10 (10% Biodiesel 90% Petrol Diesel) or B20 (20% Biodiesel and 80% Biodiesel) you can have almost the same performance. Anything higher will actually reduce the performance, but will be much greener. Also keep in mind even a small amount of increase in biodiesel can increase the overall lubricity properties dramatically. The higher the volume of biodiesel the more lubricity.

Biodiesel is awesome.

Make sure you make some good quality biodiesel.

WestSideBilly, you dont any equipment in the car. You would only need some equipment if you were running straight vegetable oil. For example, you would need a heater to warm up the vegetable oil and a filter to remove all the debris in the veggie oil.
