Ordering a GTR..
You clearly don't understand how a DSG works. Clutch pedal or not, it is much more closely related to a Manual than an Automatic.
In full manual mode, it will hold a gear and bog or bounce off the rev limiter all you want. It has dual clutches, not a torque converter, so it will have the same on/off throttle characteristics as a manual transmission.
It has all the power transfer, driveline efficiency, and driving attributes of a manual. The only thing it won't do is mis-shift like a human can, and shift slowly like humans do.
From a performance standpoint, it is superior to a manual.
Granted, it makes the driver less "engaged"; meaning your left foot doesn't get to do any work and you shift with paddles instead of a gearstick. But IMHO that is actually an improvement...
Dual Clutch DSGs are actually a brilliant piece of engineering. If you study them, you'll see that for yourself.

Yea, but it's still not as fun as having a clutch pedal and shifting through individual gates to enter a new gear. Having a clutch pedal and shifting through individual gates to enter a new gear is more involving, makes racing more interesting, and more fun than dsg by leaving the skill up to the driver. Unlike having padal shifters or shifting left or right with a knob. Why should computers get to have all the fun. I dont know but it still sounds like it would feel like a automatic car to me just a little better. Don't you think? DSG sounds impressive none the less. I might have to try one out.

2 - People used to think that fuel injection was the end of performance, and carborators were god. Now look at where we are.
I know exactly what you're saying, but take these two points into account and I need you to understand I am not coming down on you or trying to sound like an *** at all...

Dude, your not coming down on me. F1 paddles are not as involving as driving a car with a manual transmission, manual transmissions equal more fun to drivers they get more of a feel of the car, they can go into anygear at anytime instead of having to go in a sequence like with a dsg transmission. If I had a dsg, gtr I would find that annoying if i wanted to feel like I was driving a manual car and having to go in sequence through the gears to get from 1st to 3rd gear, I would feel like i'm driving a automatic car, so the point is dsg= gay, and I dont mean happy. Not me to the second part.
