So long....

It has been fun, but I picked up a Saturn Ion Redline today.... pulley flash and injectors already on the way..... The RalliArt was fun, but I can get more (speed) for less with the Redline... check the for sale section for some goodies...

So what made you go redline over cobalt ss supercharged? Why not wait for the turbo model to come out?

redlines are fast. But i pick quality over speed. Well i like both but if i had to chose one it would be quality. My friend has a redline he topped it at 186 with just a shortram and pully

I call BS on that since the top speed is 145 mph.

congrats on your purchase. redline is just not my cup of tea, from the looks on down to the middle console - something I found to be really unintuitive, but I can relate with trading up the ra for something faster. I would have just waited for the new ra but to each their own.

why sc over tc? almost no lag, plus if you do a little research you will find that GM signifcantly UNDERRATED this motor, it is very common to find stock dyno pulls showing 210-220 WHP..... as far as wheel hop, motor mounts fixed that already. Build quality.. honestly I think this is on par with mitsu, actually have less NVH than my ralli did. Not to mentionj a much higher "sleeper" factor....

The MS3 has some nasty wheel hop too. That is nothing a better motor mount can't fix in either the MS3 or RedLine.

What is so "crappy" about the MS3 looks? It is a sleeper. Most people would mistake it for a base Mazda 3 five door.

Yeah I wouldn't consider the cobalt SS or the Ion Redline a sleeper car.

Maybe not the SS, but the Redline with out the wing looks like a regular ION w 17" rims, until you hear the sc that is.....
