what bike?
what bike?
so i am in the market for a new sport bike:
2008 r6
or 2008 gsx-r 750
or 2002 mv agusta (used not new)
or 200?ducatti 749 (used not new)
what do you guys think?
pros and cons for these?
this will be my first sport bike (scary) but i have a decent amount of riding experience on dirt bikes and cruisers. just want something fast and sporty now.

thats kinda what i was thinking plus the bonuses of a new bike are a huge plus.
I.E warranty, service and piece of mind.
i fit better on the gsxr but the new r6 is so badass with the inverted strut and its a real ripper, not saying the gsxr isn't it's just the new r6 is insane compared to the 2007.

Yeah for yamaha not having a middle weight like the gsxr 750 the r6 does tear **** up especially with a good rider! i think yamaha and suzuki are the best bikes there are can't go wrong with either of them
600 to 600 even as a suzuki guy (ive owned 6 or 7 600 and 750 and 1000's) 08 r6 is the king of class right now. but when u compare it to the 750 it gets beat hands down on every level. now the suzuki yamaha rivalry will live on as the evo sti rivalry has. personally ive always thought the r1 and r6 kinda squirely and unpredictable exit and entry on the street. the gsxr is always so much smoother and feels alot better down low and mid and pulls so much more in the lower side. u dont have to scream it to get the power out the bike like the r's. would love to get my hands on a agusta m4. and the new ducati 849 looks like a nice ride aswell.

you should really add the kawi 600 series as a possibility..
IMO nothing feels like a kawi...
the r6 gets my vote, to me a suzuki is like the bikes of a person who owns a honda civic. everyone has one and they are cheap to modify.

yeah i was leaning towards a new 848 but they only come in white and red.... and the dealer has a black 07 749 with 300 miles with a warranty so i am really liking that idea right now, but maintenance on those is as expensive as a evo....
the gsxr 750 is by far faster but the technology of the NEW 08 r6 far surpasses it.
its so hard!!!! i dont know what to do!!!
there all around 10k ish plus or minus a couple dollars but man its a tough choice.
the mv is so sick! just the idea of a bike thats 5 years old and a couple k on the odometer makes me weary, plus the parts are astronomical! but definitely the most baller sport bike out there hands down.

obviously you don't ride a sport bike lol
Um I've ridden both the new r6 and the gsxr 750, to me I like the gsxr most ,750s used to suck because they would have to race in the 1000cc class at the track but now theres a 750 class so its all good. The r6 to me was kinda small feeling it has good power but not compared to a 750 gsxr 150cc dif duh
. Being your first sport bike it'll depend on your abilities, riding skills, and your ability to be responsible and not put your face on the road. I have a gsxr 600 and I wish I had bought a 1000 already.
imo gsxr , r6 depends on what you like style wise and which one feels better.

bad past experience..... not that that should matter. but its just a wierd feeling in the bottom of my stomach.i dont fit to well on it either.
plus the dealer thats doing this is a friend and they sell (new) ducatti and MV's can get me a new r6 or gsxr at list from an affiliate.
