I have built trucks at my old hot rod shop that can stomp most evos.... had a 572 BBC and was running 110. It was a guys show car and had 1300HP. Ran a 10 flat with street tires....he stripped the truck after we restored it...
Cool truck though....it was a 70 Chevy c10 SB fleetside....
Isn't there some diesel trucks out there running in the 8's? I know they drag race them....just can't seem to remember where.
apparently youve been very sheltered, and dont know anything about diesel trucks. hell the way my truck sits right now it'd beat a stock evo from a 10mph roll on level 4 (ive done it a couple times)
its an 01 reg cab duramax. edge juice with attitude monitor, AFE stage II intake, MBRP 4" turboback, BCV, one or two other custom goodies
with even a decent aftermarket turbo, fuel pump, and beef the tranny up to take it truck should be in the 12's somewhere, prolly throw in some traction bars & use slicks at the track
i had a modded lighting a couple years ago. dont ever drive one, unless your debating weather to sell your evo. hp is good fun and all but its for kids. nothings better than 1000ftlbs of torque under your a$$
just to clairify i wont crush you all, but last time i checked 75% gets me a C

What is the point of this thread?! If your going to try and sit and flame, go join your truck forums. It's not our fault your Evo was a bunch of bs because you didn't know how to take care of it and drive it.

uh huh cause im sure ive never installed a clutch or head gaskets on one in my garage & im sure i havent forgot more about PM than you know
most of the other owners ive met or talked to were good very helpful people. my beef with evos is the last two ive bought the previous owners of them that ive spoken to were all full of ****
evos are formitable cars by any means, but after owning two i now spite them and intend to direct a large amount of my money into my truck

on the streets, who cares about times. its the MPH that counts. I bet a truck like that runs 12's at maybe 110 mph or so with updraged turbo and what not..... now how many evos arnt running those times...

alot arent, because atleast 2 outta 3 evos drivers arent even close to being able to fully utilize the cars capabilities
thats my point. your not going to win
