These guys are comparing an evo with with an wrx and some are even saying that the wrx is better if you want to leave some comments they are welcomed

They are not comparing it. They all know the evo has more power/handles better than a base WRX. They just dont like evos, so they would rather see someone in a wrx, even if it isnt as much power.

True, but atleast they have opinions and not just mindless "nice kill" comments.

 

I've found alot of Subaru owners are delusional. They get alot of mis-information from friends, dealerships, and subaru enthusiast websites.

 

I agree, but the passion they have to call evos junk and POS's amazes me. I drove in modded wrx's and been a passenger. I am not gonna say its a POS, it lacks power but an all around ok car.

 

So true. I was at the Washington DC Auto Show and this dude was trying to tell ME ( a guy that has owned a 500+WHP evo) that it cost more money to make an evo faster than a STI I told him.

"DO SOME RESEARCH! THE EVO IS FASTER THAN THE STI FROM THE FACTORY!"

 

pure lack of knowledge, period.
Who cares? go to the civic forum if you wanna see evo bashing.

 

Ya a lot of sti guys I know hate evos and when I beat them they always have an excuse

 

some kid at my school with a sti was telling my friend that the evo ix is like a wrx only the mr can compete with his sti LOL. my friend just burst into laughter cause he knows better. i swear some of these guys are so ignorant

 

you guys know this debate has been going on since 2003 when the Evo and Sti were introduced in the US..........and being that they're direct competitors.....it's never going to end..............

So go to the Subi board and comment........and see the difference it makes.....lol

 

Where do these guys get their info? "Subaru AWD system is better?" Is that why they understeer like a VTEC civic and plow through the turns? At least on guy on there referenced some car reviews where the Evos "walk away from every STI on there."

 

yeah suposedly the wrx awd system is better than ours, now since they have no argument a guy there that i sponsored for autocrosses and its practiacally his work is like i chanllenge you to an autoX race, im like i challenge you a drag race.

 

hahaha damn ppl...i love sti's and they sound amazing, but im happy i got the evo ive never had any problems with it and its just an all around beast at every aspect of performance you look at
