A buddy of mine sent me this wallpaper tonight at work since we're going to re-paint my Brembo's in a week or so. I kinda like the way the yellow stands out, and my Evo has a similar color scheme (apex silver and blacked out stockers)....But my gut tells me the reason the calipers look so good is simply the Merc's they are on lol. Anyway what do you guys think?

I think yellow calipers also indicate carbon ceramic brakes...So I dunno if I want to look like a poser.

 

for the love of god, paint them black, those are yellow because it "is" a mercedes not an evo, black would look hot, im getting mine powdercoated black and i also have a silver evo, black will just set it off man

the gold flake the STi come with is nice.....thats probally how im gonna end up doing mine

 

Go for it... I think the yellow is very tasteful with the black rims and silver paint. I would add a clear coat on top of the yellow though.

Yeah, someone painted it gold without the flakes on their evo on this site and it looks really good.

Personally, I think Red still looks the best.

 

yellow looks good, plus its your ride not theirs...

 

On the LY Evo I think they look great.

On a silver Mercedes not so good.

 

I say go for it and do what you like. You don't have to have a Mercedes to paint them yellow. That's like saying you can't put an Evo IX turbo in an Evo VIII.

 

I say go with whatever you want to do

aaaaah the ****ing benz's are so sick I'm planning on getting a new C-class hopefully end of summer for my DD and keep the evo for when I want to feed my boost addiction

 

i would do a color more toward gold than yellow.
