Don't I wish! You've just identified the biggest automotive mistake of my life. I bought the car when I was starting out, about to get married, and every penny counted. Saving ~2K by buying the 1.8 8V with identical handling seemed like the prudent thing to do. In retrospect, it was stupid. I didn't plan to keep the car when I bought it. As things worked out, the GTI never left, and I certainly would have gotten my two grand worth over the years.

 

Definitely digging the black one.

 

i wish the lighting was better on that red one, and it wasnt half torn apart because that thing is BEYOND ridiculas
