2000 civic si

Hi all, I found a 2000 civic si with 95k for 6,900 (private party) I'm going to be picking it up this week. Anyone have any experience with one of these cars? I figure it gets good gas milage w/ a decent amount of power. Any input is appreciated

I had a black 2000 Si. They are great cars and deeply credited with getting the sport compact car scene going again. I had a Drag turbo kit, Hondata, and all the goodies with 309whp @15psi. It was stolen (so NEVER leave it out of your sight). They get decent gas mileage but the stock power is definitely weak @ 160hp= SOOOOO SLOW. Great car.

Awesome car, I had a black 99 with i/h/e. It was very fun to drive but lacked torque. They are very reliable and I never had a problem with it. 6900 might be on the higher side as well imo.

Keep it totally stock and hope that it doesn't get stolen.

I had a stock 99 Si that I used as my daily driver for about a year and a half before I sold it. Great car, just enough fun for day to day use, decent gas mileage... I do regret selling it and would definitely pick up another if I could find a clean one.
