The RDX is turbo. But it's a mid-size suv.

hondas dont make outstanding power unless boosted or built.

the only reason u even see decent times is their weight factor..

i see cam'd k20s barely breaking 300whp on dynojet. woooo breath taking...

A tsx with sh-awd and a k23 turbo that weighed less then 3000ibs would be cool.

Well Honda makes a turbo charged AWD crossover SUV (Acura RDX) so I suppose a sports car could be possible. I hope they do it!

Turbo cars are not very popular from a demand standpoint.

Look at the statistics of all the DSM's. I think out of all the cars produced from 90 to 99 only 17% were turbocharged and even much less for the AWD platform.

RDX turbo swap into S2k to keep it a bloodline relative? Waiting for Vtec is like waitng for.....we all the know the end to that one. Honda needs a turbo CAR. GM currently has HHR SS, COBALT SS, SOLSTICE GXP, SKY REDLINE, and possibly the '09 CAMARO with the 2.0L+turbo. 260-300hp and the niche of these lines is not killing cafe average. These mid/light-weight cars are getting 28 hwy and near 300hp. Looks like GM is doing now what Honda shoulda been doing 4 years ago

the reason why no 1 has swapped a k23 motor (rdx) into any other honda chassi is because it can nont be done the block is totally different when it comes to mounting an rsx trans or civic si trans to it ,..

also i have cars here going 11.2 , 10.8 , on built motors in 2300 pound chassis..

i also have a stock cammed k20 rsx type s swapped 92 civic eg going 11.5s

the k20 is a great great motor .

a 400 awhp evo will get its *** burnt by a 220 whp power civic .

its simple power to weight. and the difference is huge more like 1k pounds

I'm sure someone will figure out how to get the RDX motor into a civic sometime, until then the K20 or the Frankenstein aka k20 head/k24 block will be powering some crazy hondas

I work for Honda. Whoever said they were coming out w a civic diesel was wrong. It will be an accord 2.2 turbo diesel very soon. Also they have a new hybrid platform coming out similar to the prius I'm told. And its different than the FCX that they have out in cali. As far as new FI sports car I don't see them making what you want. They have developed a few small sports cars w fuel cells that get awesome fuel economy. The problem is the gas companies and government aren't moving fast enough to keep up w the technology. My .02

I think you have your ideas in your mind a bit twisted my friend. There are not many, perhaps none at all in the market making 120hp/liter NA. Honda has doneit years ago with the S2000.

Cars like Porsche(911 GT3), Corvette, Lambo,Vipers,Ferrari f50,Enzo,430,etc), BMW(M3,M5,M6) o any of the leading performance manufacturers can't touch that yet.

So.. my question to you is: What made you make such false claims?

Carlos

Keep in mind i used to rock a turbo b16 coupe never dyno'd but it ran 12.1 on street tires. that thing was a turd compared to my evo.

Ok well simple facts that you stated. power to weight..

what about people like curt brown in a gutted evo making 4XXwhp running 10.5s on the stock turbo?

All im saying is the k20/k24 is overated. 300whp NA isnt alot of power.

Ill challenge any 220whp civic to a race , with my 400whp evo.

What false claims? porsche, corvette, ect.. their not messing around with a lil k20. u your self has a 470whp vette with headers and an intake?

a k20 will be maxed out before it reaches that power. youll have to built it.

Now tell me why is a k20 so great.
