2010, nice year for muscle cars

I'm sure most of you guys know about the 2010 Camaro, but check this out... Its the new model of the 2010 Mustang, its going to have a 5.0L v-8 for the GT version, but it will also have a "Eco" 3.5L twin turbo v-6 with "superior" fuel economy. Can't wait to see how this turns out.

Wow, a V6 TT from Ford? That's awesome I wonder if Roush has any part in the engine design, since they use a Ford Taurus engine as a starting point for the V6 TT used in Nobles.

Not a 2010 model, but R&T tested the SRT8 in the latest issue. 0-60 in 4.7 and 13.0 in the 1/4. Not too shabby for a 2 ton car.

New Ford= I had one of those in 2000.5, only it was called a Audi S4 and it had AWD. Sadly it took Ford or any other US manufacture 10 years to figure it out.

Eh, hopefully they trim it down a bit. .

I'm excited about the Euro Focus supposedly being brought out here.

no the ttv6 is for the mks, some kind of sports version of the mkz... and the challenger doesnt look cool in real life... i saw it at darlington, it sucked, and only an auto tranny... the camaro is good but its just a GTO with a new body, its on the same platform and its still stamped steel suspension (no aluminum)... HEAVY, but awesome motor, like a revised LS2, its neat... Trans Am wont happen, i got connections in Pontiac in my family, Pontiac is trying to be the "American BMW" so dont count on that Trans Am...

I have owned several muscle cars and if a ford is not SVT , I am not interested. I drove the GT when they first came out and I wasnt impressed one bit.
Although they might get a better market with the turbo and better fuel econ

Nice year for all cars in my opinion.

Looks like 2010 will be the year that Toyota/Subaru release their new Subaru RWD sports vehicle (with the Toyota version coming out soon after as a 2011 model).

Also looks like the WRX and STI will be getting much needed face lifts and power upgrades. Rumor puts the WRX at around 260hp and the STI with a small increase of 5 horsepower to 310. But whenever Subaru does anything new (face lift and power increase) you can almost guarrantee Mitsubishi will respond and vice versa. I am not expecting a EVO XI by 2010, but an updated version of the EVO X (call it a EVO X and a 1/2 if you want).

I also expect the new turbocharged and AWD Acura TSX to be a 2010 model and also expect the tii version of the 1 series to be released in 2010.

Also judging by the success of the Pontiac G8, we may see a Ford Falcon in the USA. The 2010/2011 model will be on a new chassis that allows for easier and a more cost effective ability to switch from RHD to LHD. I hope that the turbocharged version of the Falcons also gets green lighted for America.

For car enthusiasts, the future is bright, because more and more manufactuers will focus on cars than gas guzzling/low performance SUVs and Trucks.

There is much more, 2008 was great year for new models, 2010 or 2011 should be the next one.
