Congrats on the purchase. They are fun cars and handle great. For a good nissan forum check out www.freshalloy.com. It is a Nissan forum, I promise.

BTW, where are the pics!?

Great car, even though it's five years old its still got a modern aggressive look to it IMO.

These cars have terrible tire wear characteristics, I was in the market for one towards the end of 05 but... the rest is history.

hahah i now have that issue! i just went by to take a look at my old forums, and this 350z was one of the worst "investments" ever... tranny problems tire ware problems, the motor on my right window went out, the front axle is vibrating, its just problem after problem and i babied the car. i hate it, i mean i loved it when it wasn't all broken. RWD is amazing, no nannies its a blast to drive, iv really learned to drive with this car! but time to move on Now im thinking about a ralliart but am scared as about of the SST ....

bottom line Z fun as hell to drive, but.... breaks down and then cost you a fortune to fix! +3000 for the transmition... when its a known tranny problem from factory many Z had 5 gear out by 36 thousand miles...

Yep, my buddy went through a set of tires every 6 months or so with his '03. It was unfixable apparently b/c he took it to the dealer about 10 times to have suspension parts replaced. I forget exactly what the problem was, but it was definitely a 2003 flaw. GL though, they're great cars otherwise.

www.my350z.com is a fantastic site. Look into the Powerlab GT35R kit if you want some decent power out of it!

If you didn't find info on my350z then you didn't look or search right. That's the largest, most active, and most informative forum for any car that I've ever been to. When I had my Z for a few years (I had an 03 Track) I was on that site all the time. Look into a Vortech s/c if you want some more power but not break the bank.
