Carlos,
Sorry to hear that you're going to have to backtrack a little. Is there not another cam choice that would be less aggressive but improve things over stock?

I appreciate your moral support. As you know me well, I am my own "lab test" if you will. Lesson learned, I should had driven one and see first but this car has such a large variety of cams available that isn't that easy to find one with the same set up around.

People post their dynos and what not but I am not about the dynos and numbers, I want a good solid reliable power output. For someone else a dynoqueen is all, other people made 600.7whp and 614whp with similar mods on better gas but I had to sacrifice a lot because of Tucson heat, Tucson altitude and Tucson gas(91oct).

Botton line, other Z06 owners loved this cam(QM600) but we all not have the same taste...

The shop offers me another more mild cam but after seeing how easy this car now breaks loose at 60-70 or 80mph I think I am staying with the stock cam which allows you to cruise in 6th gear at even 700-900 rpm without hesitation.

I figure the other supporting mods I have aren't that bad after all: long tube headers, ported intake manifold, air filter , tune, ported TB and stage III heads(combustion chambers, valve angle job, 11.4:1 compression ratio, ported intake and exhaust ports, chromolly push rods, etc) and for now the stock catback with the flappers opened.

Life goes on and if someone would be looking for a cam I would have a tale to tell. I can't wait until you get your ACR and send us some pictures.. $9000 of the MSRP is bad a$$

I totally forgot to update this topic/post. It took me only two days of miserable driving to realize this cam was not for me. I drove back and had the shop swaping the upgraded QM600 cam for the stock cam and do a retune.

The car is down to 501whp and 480lb-tq with the stock cam. No more bucking, no more hesitations, no more shaking. Car has 8600 miles now and drives smooth .
