Is there a reason you guys chose s2000 other than looks.
I`ve been leaning towards the s2000 but i hear they perform really bad in winter esp with Illinois weather

^ 350Z is no picnic in the snow either.
Buy the Honda, better resale, and who doesn't doesn't like shifting at 9K (8000k if you get a 04 or newer). More fun to drive in general, there lighter and more tossable (if thats a word). Look for an 03 or newer, they have the glass rear window, then the major update in 04.

Had an S2K, my brother had a 350. He wants an s2k now, lol. Im thinkin about trading my IX for another S2K. They're fun as hell to drive, I had 108k on mine and had ZERO problems with it! They're a great car! Its either the S2k or an NSX.

S2k imo more rare, look better and has such a rigid body and handle really well. I am bias though since the evo is getting traded in for a S2K
also never underestimate a Honda. also the S2k is at least 500-600 lbs lighter than a 350Z which makes it much nimbler and it was designed to be a convertible from the start unlike some of those 350Z's out there.

If you have to drive it in winter in Chicago go with the 350z. At least it has traction control and a bit more ground clearance, nevermind more insulation to keep out the cold.
I prefer the s2000 if it doesnt involve winter. That was actually the reason I bought the Evo, winters in Chicago are rough with rwd. Oddly enough, I ended up buying a daily driver and the Evo to this day has never seen snow or salt. Go figure...
In hind site I wish I would have gotten an s2000 or Elise. Im not big on hp or mod capability, more so on handling.

Both are great cars, but I like the S2K more.
350Z has more low end grunt so daily driving is a bit better. S2K comes to life in the upper RPM.
I just like the S2K look better because the 350Z seem dated already for me.
