After 5 1/2 years its time to move on.....
I hope I don't get the same feeling in 5 1/2 years, currently I'm in 3 years 8 1/2 months and only maybe use her one day a week.
couldn't you of still kept the EVO, don't you think you'll miss her?
I would of still kept the EVO, I assume it was paid off?, store her in my garage, and occasionally take her out for a spin, whenever I'd need a hardcore rush.

everything is overpriced from the factory no matter what make/brand you buy. just find a good shop to do the work after your warranty is up. example is how much would it cost us to buy a factory tb exhaust from mitsubishi????
The 335i still sufferers from open rear diff.
No matter what, I'd keep the Evo. Extend the finance term, shop around for low rates, whatever it takes to financially allow you to keep the Evo. Because you *will* miss it.
BTW - My friend has a 335i and had to bring it back to the dealer 3 times in 2 years to fix some problem with the turbo; one time it just died on the side of the road. All covered under warranty, but very annoying.
Hopefully they've improved the reliability in the 135i.
Although, I have to say, after driving it I might be tempted to get one as well. Twin turbo inline 6 is hard to beat. Surprisingly torquey in low revs.

But then, again "beauty is in the eyes of the beer holder". !
I'm 54, I sure hope that doesn't happen to me when I get old. I've had my 03 for 5 years and I'm putting an FP Red in it once it arrives.
It's kinda fun smackin down the old farts in Beamers ,Vetts and the like, with just cams,IC, EMS, and basic bolt ons. I'm really looking forward to the FP Red.
Good luck with the Beamer, I just bought a used Tracker for the winter, so I can sort of relate. I can snooze going to and from work.
