Starting on 08-20-08 General Motors will be offering GMS, which is GM Employee pricing for everyone.

I went to the dealer yesterday(O'rellys) to buy a outdoor/indoor car cover and I saw the Z06s with $11000 off. Fully loaded for $68000 instead of $79000 MSRP.
I wish I knew 5 months go but I still got a few thousand dollars off... regardless, I think GM is offering a great discount (part f that because of the economy is weak)

It is a great price, keep in mind the 09 models now offer a few more stuff than the 08 which also offer more than previous 06 and 07s. Now they got satelite radio, on star, blue tooth, and other things that weren't even offered the first year of production.
Don't confuse the new pricing with the quality of the car, for $66000 you are getting a lot of car but what is really happening is that GM as being the largest car maker is loosing moeny due to the week economy thus that is refelecting on the disccount prices...
