GM offering Employee Pricing to Everyone!

Starting on 08-20-08 General Motors will be offering GMS, which is GM Employee pricing for everyone.

https://www.gmfamilyfirst.com/ip-gmemployee/

GMS is the employee discount.

Corvette Coupe (1LT) MSRP $46,950 - EP = $40,876
Z06 MSRP $72,125 - EP = $66,652
Malibu Sedan (1LS) MSRP $20,550 - EP = $18,008

Aura Greenline Hybrid MSRP $24,550 - EP = $20,836
Astra XE 5-Door MSRP $16,495 - EP = $15,136
Astra XR 5-door MSRP $18,045 - EP = $16,539

Buick:

Enclave CX MSRP $33,955 - EP = $29,449

Go to corvetteforums.com and you can probably get an idea of what people have paid for theirs.

Strangely enough people have been saying that about Mitsu on the subaru forums for years.

I went to the dealer yesterday(O'rellys) to buy a outdoor/indoor car cover and I saw the Z06s with $11000 off. Fully loaded for $68000 instead of $79000 MSRP.

I wish I knew 5 months go but I still got a few thousand dollars off... regardless, I think GM is offering a great discount (part f that because of the economy is weak)

It is a great price, keep in mind the 09 models now offer a few more stuff than the 08 which also offer more than previous 06 and 07s. Now they got satelite radio, on star, blue tooth, and other things that weren't even offered the first year of production.

Don't confuse the new pricing with the quality of the car, for $66000 you are getting a lot of car but what is really happening is that GM as being the largest car maker is loosing moeny due to the week economy thus that is refelecting on the disccount prices...
