wow, that is horrible.....

Im sure Nissan will be loving AMS for what they are going to put that car through!!! LOL.

I would never buy that car for that reason ever.... I would much rather go through the hassle of importing a R34 or an R32

Wow. This is just getting ridiculous. No privacy anymore. Soon our whole lives are going to be monitored if they aren't already: phone, internet, driving. WTF

They've been talking about these for a long time. Get ready. It's only going to get worse.

That sucks big ba!!s! Another thing that sucks...if the cops didn't already know about it, they do now! So I can see one of their teckkies creating a program to do exactly that. Even if they don't have the "smart" speed signs, as soon as they see 90mph logged they got you. Where can you legally go 90MPH other than the track? If you do 90 for more than 13 seconds they know you weren't at the track and they got you.

Nissan....you get a big for that. BOOOO!

people stop freaking out cause i am sure in no court will convict based on 90mph registered on a computer with no witness to where it happened , i am sure once this cars ecu etc.. is reversed engineered tuning shops will be able to manipulate the computer. NO electronic device is safe imo from being cracked.

True but you can get a ticket from the camera's on the highway mailed to you so what makes this any different? Its a machine taking record of you speeding and you can get a ticket issued to you because of the data collected. Same difference.

Exactly groovy. It doesn't matter if the computer messed up once or twice they've still got multiple records of you speeding. It doesn't even have to be racing either, because I know there are times when I accelerate onto the highway and hit 85 or 90 before slowing down.

Honestly this country is getting ridiciulous with its poor economy, privacy invasion, government scare tactics, and everything else. In fact that's why I've been saving for the day I finish grad school so I can head off to London. My dad just moved to Spain and my brother is moving to Italy in less than a month.

Regardless of the technological privacy pirates aboard that vehicle, how sick is that angle of the GTR in that article.

God that car is sooooo sexy.

Hmm buy a house (down payment ) or a GTR?

Im with Nez, until they nail somebody for 150 in 65 with that box I wouldnt cancel my order (which I dont have )

Well I hope for their sakes (people who had the money for them) you don't have to eat those words. Like was said before...its not a stretch with the capabilities of America now a days. Also like I said in my 1st post, I'm sure the cops have someone developing a program now to read that box. He's back there like this as we speak.
