Its a sad day when i sold my Evo VIII

so i got stuck buying a Mitsubishi Outlander 2008 with the 4B12 MIVEC motor. What are the chances anyone out there thinks that this truck could be outfitted with a small turbo with minimal issues to the integrity to the engine? I tried searching on here for anyone with an outlander but it obviously seems no one really wants to turbo up on an SUV. I know the 4B12 is a "respectable" 2.4L engine, but I wouldnt mind dressing this up and making a sleeper turbo SUV.

Any ideas anyone??? Comments? (besides thats a stupid F*$%in idea)

well, it's the same motor as the '09 lancer gts, and RRM already has a turbo kit out for it. theirs is for the manual transmission though. is your outlander manual? cvt? basic auto? it could probably be fitted with the turbo, but the transmission and tuning is what's gonna be the issue.

its the CVT transmission with the paddle shifters, but i wonder if its still doable.... just wondering where i should look for more info. Im thinking about trying to contact Mitsubishi about specs between the lancer and the outlander

Just wondering why did you sell your EVO and how did you get stuck buying an Outlander?

Just wondering.
