I never even bring that up. I figure everyone on these threads have seen all the issues (and maintenence costs) of the GTR.

What "bad handling" would you be talking about? I like the GTR too but just don't start talking nonsense.

Have you ever driven a 911? They all handle like crap. I don't know what Porsche was thinking, mine is the biggest piece of **** ever. Maybe they made them all crappy so that when a car like the GTR came along they could instantly improve it and beat the new car.

Don't get me wrong: When it comes down to new, I'd get the GTR in a heartbeat, especially since I'd have the money for it well before I'd have the money for a Turbo. But anyone who says the Carrera series has bad handling has obviously either A) never driven one B) Never known what they were doing while driving one.

I left out some words in my post... Fixed it now. There's no way I'd trade my Evo in just for a car to make me look good, especially since no car could ever do that

They are not almighty though, that's for sure.

Let me see, understeers coming into a corner, oversteers when exiting a corner, unstable in middle sections of the turn. Bascially the car is not balanced. Need i list more?

Look up any reviews of the Porsche Turbo and it'll say the same thing.

Such as? I hope you're not referring to the people that abused LC and ruined their transmission.

C4's push too much, I've driven a C2S 996 extensively and it's a solid car. High limits, but they can be twitchy if you aren't ready for it. You can't hurl a Porsche into a corner sideways at 100mph, but if you plan your moves and drive with the strengths of the car it does very well.
