I think it's kind of funny. The Nissan guys are saying that the Porsche guys should take some GTR driving class to make their GTR go faster. That is pretty funny.

 

What's funny is it kinda works both ways: Porsche's drivers suck, but the GTR is hard to drive fast.

Either way, regardless of everything else, I'd pick this:

Any day of the week, no matter how much faster the GTR is.

 

I'm not paying 50 grand more for a slower car with a nicer interior. This isn't your living room, its a car, a performance car at that.

 

Actually I can make the interior look just as good as the Prosche all I need is 10 minutes with the picture in photoshop just like porsche did. To me I like the way the interior is on the GTR 1,000,000 times. It feels better, looks better and just much better.

 

A performance car that has current owners piised off over unwarrantied trannys.

 

I don't want this to become a pissing contest like the discussion of the article there's too much crap on EvoM on that already, especially anti-GTR stuff, both cars have their faults in different areas and the turbo is definitely slower. But... I'd really like to see you photoshop the GTR's interior "just like Porsche did" to get it to look like the Porsche interior. If I'm not mistaken, other than the background... That's EXACTLY how the interior looks on both cars.

Of course Nissan is going to defend their times. Are they lying? Who knows. The best way to settle is having Porsche and Nissan each pay $50k to an independent source and have them test the cars side-by-side.

I would now. I didn't back in the day because it wasn't quite the gap it is now, and the Evo looked much better on the outside than the STi. In the above case I think both the TT and the GTR look equally beautiful on the outside.
