Why is everybody getting all defensive? It's poking fun at the car in a playful manner much the way we get mocked for having cheap lancer interior or DSM's get mocked for crankwalk or supras for not being able to get out of the 12's. Seems to be all in good fun to me

 

Hes not hating.. Dozens of people are being denied warranty on stock cars that have blown trannies.. There is a series of services you must perform to keep your warranty.. Even those who have followed all of nissans guidelines and have a blown tranny are being told they must pay 17k for the new tranny..

My friend has the same issue and he paid 700.00 for the tranny service as recommended.. His blew his and nissan has not even opened the tranny to see what went wrong and just denied warranty flat out.. there is a class action lawsuit already forming..

 

Wow so Nissan is shaping up nicely. Must be an AWD thing...first inflated lap times promoting how well the GTR beats the Z06, now busted trannies that seem to be popping up daily. Guess the Z06 owners are laughing all the way to bank....

I would like to stay away from any misinterpretation but since someone mentioned the Z06 transmisions and the GTR transmision I would like to point out that a Z06 transmission cost $4500.

Additionally other "big dogs" with over 500hp also use the same transmision(2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, 2008 Chevrolet Corvette, 2008 Dodge Viper SRT-10, 2008 Ford Falcon FG Range , 2008 Holden Special, 2009 Dodge Challenger, 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP, 2009 Cadillac CTS-V, 2009 Chevrolet Camaro SS ) this makes it much more comprehensible for any Z06 owner to fix/upgrade one.
