This honda is my buddy Sam's. I'v been tryin to convinve him to turbo his car and i think he's gonna go for it but he only wants to shoot for 250 whp. He gots a 1.6 d16y8 thats fully built! 3 angle valve job, full port and polished, AEM tru-time cam gear, AEM fuel rail, Apex-i WS-2 exhaust, ARP head studs, comp cam stage 2, fluidyne radiator, Skunk2 Intake manifold, SRP 9:1 pistons, Tuner Toy rods, valve job +.010 mill...What should his whp goal be? i told him 350 whp...

This is my other buddies honda that i turboed for him. stock b16a2 with a ebay turbo kit...i told him to get turbonetics but didn't listen....

one of my buddies down here in Myrtle Beach has a built SOHC honda with a pieced together turbo kit, actually using a stock evo 8 turbo...hes right around 300whp on pump gas...not bad...especially for a tiny CRX...

 

when i had my crx i was running 250hp on a stock bottom end...with a built bottom end his goals will be a lot higher..tell him to throw a gt30 on it and he will be good for 350-400 with a good tune...if you have any questions shoot me a pm.....

I just bought a project CRX with a B16 in it. It is going to be a fun build, a fully toda built engine, I want to spin this thing to 10k. Now its just getting the right turbo for it. I was thinking a Red / 50 Trim or even a GT30R.... To many choices

 

Its a built single, your looking at about 180whp at most!!!!! And im being generous. Unless he is spraying.

Boosted, your looking at 280-300whp.
