How much whp does a stock 2005, 2006 C6 vette have?
Can my car beat it? (mods/tune in sig)

 

C6's Have the same motor as a 2001-2004 z06 , they Put down around 320-340whp To my knowlage

From a dig , Probably , On the highway , thats another story. I raced a 2004 c5 , w/ tune/exhaust/cam. And he was door to door w/ me

With all my respect, what the hell are you talking about?. The C6(2005+) have the LS2 (6.0l 400hp)then on 2008 they just changed to a LS3(6.2l).

The 01 to 04 z06 vettes had the 5.7l LS6 engine with two different power outputs(385hp and 405hp). I am not trying to ridiculize you or anything but you put a timeframe in which 3 different engines were build and even one of them had two outputs.

As per performance, it is proven that a old C5z06 will be a total match to a earlier C6. Also, in my opinion a used C5 Z06 is one of the top ten best performance deals you can get right now as used car.

Back to the subject. Yeah you could beat them from a dig. Many many people have done mid 12's and around 115+ traps on bone stock C6s but the RWD requires a decent driver to make the car competitive.

I really think you would take him from a dig and he will slowly catch up.

i am thinking gsc s2 cams, headstuds upgraded valvetrain and ams retuned.

eventually some form of an ets 30r kit.
