The ZR1 has just smashed the GTR and gave it another bloody nose, this time in a short track. The ZR1 also beat the GT2 and 599 and broke several MT records. It scored a top speed over 200mph, 3.3 0-60, 11.2 quarter mile, 1.1g and stopping distance of just 96feet.

For a lot of people it will take years to understand. Ferrari is very nice. Porsche is very nice but look at it from a different point of view. Porsche made the a Carrera GT and despite making it with carbon fiber body it still weights more than the Z06, same with the Ferrari Enzo, F430 and so on. You are paying a lot for the name and for the fact that there aren't enough dealers around and that makes everything more expensive for the import exotic.

If you want to really critizise a car go and look the NSX, cost almost 100k and look at the power and the achievements.. exactly!!

If you are looking for pu$$y in Holliwood then perhaps driving a Ferrari in 90210 will get you there but if you want to be practical a Z06 would do more than a Porsche GT3, turbo, Ferrai, Lambo and so on.

The vettes offer a lot for their price, you need to be very flexible to see things from other perspectives. Look at a Lotus Elise, it is a bare frame, uncomfortable, some of them without cruise control,A/C.etc while you can get a 08 vette with a LS3 engine well equiped and still fast, nice and comfortable..

Carlos

so any evidence it was a stock zr-1 or that it even set an official time of 22.4?
