Why on earth would you do that, the purpose of a car is to drive it hard, not park it cuz ur scared it will blow up. Every friend i have had with an rx7 has blown his motor at least 2x. Each one was "built" with 1,000,000 mm apex seals and all. The v8 makes the car a great machine and keeps the 50/50 distribution and weighs the same.

More reliable, instant torque, more power potential, better MPG.. WHy the hell not?

Very awesome FD! Can't wait to see how nicely you mod up your Evo. Best of all, you're lucky enough to be located in Buschur Racings' backyard

yes some people pull the engines and put V8's don't blame them because they don't know how to work on the rotary at all and want an easier way to make the engine last longer, for me i like the Rotary because the rarity of the engine, not every car has a rotary engine, every car you see in the road is a piston motor car unless it electric, or rotary. if you like the rotary keep it if not then go ahead and pull it out, everyone has there own weird way of liking a car.

to each their own, but i think its horrible that people swap these motors in. an american thing it seems. rotarys are the s*** and should be left in there.

your car is clean, but like another member said, i would have kept the rotary in there. its nice to have it in there and make the power to show people that it can be done and be safe. i guess people from the islands dont do those swaps....

I agree with you all the way on this, I love the rotary, and would never change the rotary out for anything.
