*** Lexus IS F ***
I've been thinking lately that I may consider trading my Evo IX MR for something that would suit my life better, but still have the performance. I have been giving the IS F serious consideration. I'm still not 100% on giving up my Evo just yet, but it still could be very possible. I was wondering if I could get everyone's thoughts and comments on the new Lexus IS F, and if it would be worth taking the place of my Evo. Any help and opinion would be very helpful. Thanks everyone!

is-F is pure sex!!!! I actually LOVE the quad stacked exhaust....i just wanna stick my......oh my bad.
Anyways, the car is awesome. I just think its way over-priced. The markups are ridiculous. The wheels are so sick for a stock rim. There are a few @ the local Lexus dealership. My g/f has an IS250. Wish she would trade it in.

Lexus builds a very solid car. I had a 98 GS4 with suspension big wheels blah blah and after 60k miles like that it was still silent inside. Never once was in the shop for anything other than brakes and fresh oil.
The IS-F looks mean as hell. Stock trim numbers look pretty damn good too.

Yep, I bought my wife a X5 yesterday, and test drove a M3 for giggles (again). The difference you feel in these upper echelon sports sedans/coupes is the build quality. The solid doors, seats, steering, everthing feels well built, and fast too.
I haven't driven a IS-F, but I bet it's nice.

Just some food for thought...
IS-F 0-60 4.6 seconds, 5 liter V8 416 hp/ 371 trq - 56k bone stock, fully loaded mid 60k
M3 0-60 4.8 seconds, 4 liter V8 414 hp/ 295 trq - 56k bone stock, fully loaded mid 60k
To me, it would be close between the IS-F and the New M3 Coupe
Although the IS-F is a torque monster w/ the 5 liter V-8 compared to the 4 liter of the BMW M3, They produce similar performance numbers. Both have great brake systems, both look mean , and both would be head turners.
To the OP, the IS-F would be a top contender IF not on the top of mid-sized performance sedans/coupes. You could not go wrong with it. It would be an upgrade from your current car, in more ways then one.
Good luck!

Thanks everyone for the important feedback. I think I may post up my Evo IX MR for sale pretty soon, that is if things are still looking the same way for me. I'm married and have a baby girl now, but I still love high-performance cars very much. The Lexus IS F is a top choice for me right now because of the brand's reputation, the car's build quality, and just because Lexus has unleashed such an amazing car. It has the automatic transmission so my wife can drive it also, and plus our baby can peacefully stay in the back with the car seat...........Oh yeah, and I can still have a very fun car to drive.
