I painted my old spearco intercooler black. Its not much of a sleeper though when you see/hear it in person. Its loud as hell and the paint is sick. The paint has a ton of flake in it, its blinding in the sunlight. I am actually changing up the exhaust over the winter in hopes of making it quieter and finally getting a muffler to line up in the exhaust cutout in the JDM bumper.

 

so since these came in awd almost everywhere but america, how hard would it be to do the conversion? there are plenty of guys on here smashing up their cars to get a doner

 

That is not a freaking sleeper by anymeans Look at that Huge freaking bad *** FMIC that is just wicked. Only way I would think it was nothing is if I rolled up on it from the rear PARKED and could not hear the turbo wine. That is one nice ride and nice swap! Too bad it's not AWD you would be bringing back the GVR4!!
