Any REALLY old school DSM'ers on here?? You may get a kick out of this..The first 12 second club haha and Dave Buschur was still killin it back then lol..I came across this stuff while cleaning out the basement,I found like 5 or 6 newsletters and copies dating back to 91 with letters from hks and mitsu. lots of interesting stuff for the younger guys who never knew how we did it back in the day lol..

Holy Crap! LOL I didn't think anyone would still have that stuff. You should bring it to the next MOD and set up a display case with it.
Something for most of the younger guys to remember is David Buschur started out with an older Buick or Oldsmobile. He made the switch to a DSM in late 1989 when the new Eagle Talons became available for the 1990 model year IIRC.

That is awesome! Thanks for sharing this with the community. Sometimes people forget where they came from and need a little reminder. Back then running in the 12's was pretty impressive. Now if you tell someone you have a 12 second Evo or DSM they just laugh and ask if it's stock! LOL It wasn't to long ago for some of us that we remember hearing the rumors that an AWD turbo car was coming from a joint venture with Mitsu and Chrysler. Most of us kinda laughed and thought "how are they going to make a Reliant K AWD? Fortunately for us that is pretty much what they did, with a better looking body of course!

I do love the history stuff. Thanks Petey.
A casual search of the intrawebz tells me there is no real history site explicitly dealing with DSM's. We should remedy that situation maybe.

Wow, yes I do, I was a member for a short time. Still have newsletters stored away in a box somewhere. And I still have my old 3000 GT too, 42,000 original miles, still in great condition.
