Top gear worst 10 cars
Hey guys I was on the top gear website and happened to come across "10 Foreign fails" two of them happened to be mitsu. I couldn't stop giggling
the eclipse and the galant. They knock these two models but praise the EVO
ALL HAIL THE EVO
here is what they had to say about the eclipse ,
"Once upon a time, the Mitsubishi Eclipse was a turbocharged, all-wheel drive street fighter that helped launch a revolution in aftermarket tuning. Today, like a star athlete who's let himself go, it's a big, fat shadow of its former self. It's too big, too heavy and has styling that grows on you like a wart — it's a mystery how this car shares a badge with the world-beating Evo. We could live with all that if it were fun to drive, but it's not. Sure, it'll boil the front tires all day with the V6, but the handling is unsophisticated, and it feels porky because it is. It does have a rockin' audio system, but when that's the highest compliment you can give a car...
Alternatives: Want a powerful front-drive sport coupe that will knock your socks off? Check out a Chevy Cobalt SS. No joke. With 260 hp, it has nearly as much power as the Eclipse, but it weighs less, costs less, has a cool no-lift-shift feature and handles like it was tuned on the Nürburgring because it was. OK, so it's a touch embarrassing to be seen in, but since you were considering the Eclipse, we figured looks aren't so important to you. "

Although I agree with their assessment of the Eclipse, I'm not sure about the rest.
Audi A3 - The A3 is a good looking car with a nice interior. The GTI is so-so, while the WRX is just plain fugly, and both have comparatively cheap interiors. The $3000 difference between the GTI and A3 is the interior and content list. The proper comparison is the VW Jetta sport wagen, which is only about $800 cheaper (and ugly).
BMW X6 - Spot on. A car BMW should never have made.
Honda Element - Honda missed their demographic, but it's been a smashing success as a result. The 20-something adventurous outdoorsy type is an underserved demographic, except one problem: they rarely have money. The Element turned into a "hip" soccer mom car, and an awesome vehicle for dog owners.
C-Class - Not sure it's a failure... just meh.
Galant - Only exists because
needs a mid size sedan. I'd take a Sebring long before I considered a Galant.
Armada/QX56 - I think they got this one right, too. Don't see it ever being replaced.
Maxima - If it was an FR it'd be fine. No FF car should have that kind of power. This also applies to a LOT of other other sedans (Acura TL, which belongs on this list).
Cayenne - Pretty much. I am opposed to the idea of a sporty SUV, so the X5 4.4i and FX50 are just as silly, but not as ridiculously overpriced.
Camry - Yep, it's ugly. But it's still as good an appliance as you can get. If you actually care about the drive, there are much better options.
OK, after further review, I agree with 6 of 10.

Most of the stuff on that list, as you say are appliances suitable for their purpose and/or just mediocre but not outstandingly intolerable either. The Galant strikes me as mediocre as opposed to horrible. I know I would prefer it over something from Hyundai or Kia.
Eclipse aside, I don't think I can agree with that list at all. I would have probably given the awards to more Korean cars, and Lexus. If I can include Chrysler and Ford, no doubt they would score high on my list as well.
I just came back from an airport trip in my Mom's A3 DSG. I absolutly love the car. It is such a refreshing change sometimes from my EVO (harsh suspension).
The A3 is comfortable, has a real nice navi, great power/torque, sweet trans, good amount of cargo space, and is fairly rare.
