Top gear worst 10 cars
I've owned several Audis in the past and, if you can overlook their horrible weight distribution and resulting tendency to plow through corners, they are great cars...especially the interiors.
However, the A3 was poorly executed. With the 2.0 it is underpowered and with the Quattro and 3.2 VR6, it is a hatchback that weighs over 3600 lbs. Plus, it is not the "true" Quattro AWD found in the S4 and up, but the less performance oriented offering found in the R32 and TT. The A3 shares its platform with the Golf/Rabbit/GTI/R32, the New Beetle, and the previous generation TT. Of all these cars, it is the heaviest and least performance oriented. When you add in that a well equipped one is priced in the same category as the Evo, it is just embarassing.
