does any one have a good transmission replacement write up/howto? i have a shep rebuilt 5speed ready to replace my cracked old one. please any help would be wonderful

Buy a crowbar, the tcase is a little bastard.

Remove Axles, disconnect motor from tranny, remove starter, remove all lines including shifter cables, drop t-case(real easy about six bolts, just drop driveshaft first) and then remove mounts and then just drop.

 

I could into detail but thats a quick easy explanation, it shouldnt take more than two hours to remove the tranny.
