Good video Frank. What it surprises me the most is to find more and more people still trapping 128-129mph on their bone stock Z06 and running 11.1 and 11.2s just like the other day that guy from florida that did a few passes that average like 11.2-11.3@127 plus.
It makes you think that adding just a 100 wet nost kit and a set of DR will get you dip into the high 9 -low 10s and traps of around high 130's.

Yeah, I haven't open my mouth much about the ZR1 on this forum yet but here is an apetizer:
the ZR1 already made 705whp with silly bolt ons.
As per the weight, there is a correction to your comment though, they weight 3350lbs(roughly 200lbs more than the Z06), that is courtesy of:
bigger tires
bigger brakes
bigger rims
heavier engine setup (heavier and thicker block)
intercooler and supercharger along with more piping
There are many people that trapped 127-128mph on their bone stock Z06 so the potencial of the ZR1 I estimated to be in the 140s after they add minor bolt ons.
There are only like one or two people that actually modded their ZR1s, just wait a few more weeks or months and we will see someone doing 9's and 140s(I think)

Ah yes forgot forgot about the weight...humm didn't know they broke 700whp already. I read about one that did 650whp...a street car trapping 145mph with a couple mods is insane.

Yeah they are finally learning to drive them! Thats because the people that are buying them are getting younger.
Heck you can pick up a used 06 Z06 garage queen with low miles on it for the low to mid $40k range and if you know someone that can go to the auctions even less. Heck for the price of a new Nissan 370 Z, loaded X MR or new BMW 135 just throw a few bolt-ons on the Z06 and your in the 10's I'm putting a 100-125shot on mine and it should be good for high 9's with some DR's.
For real though that 705hp ZR1 ran a 10.21 best Et and a 138mph trap and with only a few minor upgrades and that was on stock rubber with a self proclaimed so so driver! The ZR1 is a beast from the factory that is for sure.
