Before the mods or anyone else gets crazy..this is a track video from last night and no street racing in it! Woo hoo...finally a video of the EVO I can post on here! haha I was feeling a bit lazy, so the video isn't all edited up like usual Theres lot more video, incar rides, ect...but I'll put that on one of the other comps that should pop out sooner or later!

Anyhow...Chris took the infamous black EVO to the track(1/8 mile) for the first time after he got it back from AMS. All runs are on boost alone and on the stock tires. I think the best 60 foot he could cut was a 1.8(the two-step was set at 4800 and it kept bogging every launch, but he can chime in on that subject as I'm not 100% sure)...but he did awesome for the first time I must say! Best ET was a 7.30...and I think his best MPH was a 101.5. Without a doubt will see a 6 sec pass on his next time out! Chris and AMS =

The blue 03 Cobra is the same one that he raced on one of the other videos. Ported blower, nitrous, ect...I think his best time was 6.72 @ 105. He had the ET Streets, skinnies up front, ect.

The red EVO(Wrick) has a set of cams and tune..I think his best run was a 7.9. The blue EVO, not sure of exact mods, but I know stock cams still....and his best time was a 8.1.

Sweet vids, thanks for posting them. Wow I'm impressed, I'm sure his EVO (the 600WHP) can go even quicker and faster, but still 101.5MPH in the 1/8th is no joke. That is like 125-130MPH in the 1/4 Mile and his 7.3 E.T. is like 11.0-11.5 in the 1/4 Mile. Great job, and believe me, that EVO could go even faster with better tires and more experience from the driver and just for sh*t and giggles, ask him to spray?

He was going to..but stock tires + that track(they aren't exactly known for good track prepping anymore) and it'd a just broke loose...so he's saving it for when the DRs are on.

I've always referred to it as a two step...butt I could be wrong

 

2 step I think is what you are talking about. Allows the car to sit there and build a couple psi for the launch.


That is one sick car. 101 MPH in the 1/8 mile is something like 130 in the 1/4. Get that 60 foot down and he will be in the 10s no doubt. Awesome!!

 

eh.. Ive seen all his vids.. in the end.. no replacement for displacement he does get beat by a camaro.

 

That 2 step was killing him lastnight. He couldnt get the rpms high enough to get a good launch so it just bogged down bad. He'll be back next week with a 6 I'm sure. But that car is gonna shine in the 1/4. 4th gear in that car is crazy!!!

I ran the yellow one earlier. He pulled a 1.5 60ft and 6.9 on his first run down the track. Needless to say I got SMOKED!!!

 

yeah a NON-STREET only racer!!!!! his car is bad **** bud. if the only way to be beat is something off a trailer your pretty fast

 

the blue 03 ended up with best 60 foot of 1.54 and the yellow Cobra a 1.4x
