As for the CTS-V, I didnt think they would be as much money as they are. That is definitely out. The Evo X can be had for less than $600/month. I will be putting roughly 6k down so I will only be financing ~26,000.

If you have to take clients around, I would lean towards something on the luxury side, rather than sporty. The Evo is not the car to be taking people around in. BMW 325i, Caddy CTS, Lincoln MKZ, Hyundai Genesis sedan, Merc C class, etc.

Evo is easily doable, cars.com has 45 (2008) Evolution GSR's listed for $32,500 or less, with 6K down that might even get you into an MR!!! You could even get into a GSR with some nice factory options. This is a really good time to be looking at an Evo, the 2010's are getting ready to hit, so a lot of dealers are working to get rid of their 2008's.
My recommendation would be to sit down, figure out what you need from the car, see what's available, and narrow it down from there.
Will you be paying out of pocket for gas?
Do you need lots of room for hauling stuff?
Do you need an AWD vehicle?
I spent 2 weeks looking, researching, etc. before I zeroed in on the RA. Part of your work is done, you know where you stand in terms of down payment, monthly payment, etc. no worries about financing. You are half way there, don't drop the ball, make sure you get the best vehicle for you.
Also, with an Evo there will be a strong temptation to mod the car, that seems to be half the fun of getting an Evo. Mods may void the warranty and will probably not sit well with your employer.
Think it over man, my 2 cents.

Will they let you lease? or does it have to be a purchase. $600 will get you a lot more car if the manufacturer is offering a decent lease (Which is not a given like it used to be before today's economy).
